RG and Jie Sayson - "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko" duet
Last April 6 would have been the wedding of a couple who invited the husband and wife duo featured in the video below to sing at the event. The song was chosen by the couple who were to wed, and the duo began practicing it.
The wedding was postponed due to the pandemic. The groom was in Thailand, the bride in Singapore, and the wedding was to be held in the Philippines.
Here is a raw video of the wedding singer couple practicing the song - no mics, no filters, no mixing, no edits:

The video was recorded raw while in general community quarantine (GCQ). The song is a Rey Valera composition that was popularized by Sharon Cuneta in 1978 and sung by other artists since then. This recording is based on the version by David DiMuzio and Anna Rabtsun. Below are the song lyrics:
Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko
Kung tayo ay matanda na
Sana’y di tayo magbago
Kailan man
Nasaan ma’y ito ang pangarap ko
Makuha mo pa kayang
Ako’y hagkan at yakapin, ooh
Hanggang pagtanda natin
Nagtatanong lang sa iyo
Ako pa kaya’y ibigin mo
Kung maputi na ang buhok ko?
Pagdating ng araw
Ang ‘yong buhok
Ay puputi na rin
Sabay tayong mangangarap
Ng nakaraan sa ‘tin
Ang nakalipas ay ibabalik natin, ooh
Ipapaalala ko sa ‘yo
Ang aking pangako
Na ang pag-ibig ko’y laging sa ‘yo
Kahit maputi na ang buhok ko
Ang nakalipas
Ay ibabalik natin, hmmm
Ipapaalala ko sa ‘yo
Ang aking pangako
Na ang pag-ibig ko’y laging sa ‘yo
Kahit maputi... kahit maputi…
Kahit maputi na ang buhok ko...
By the way, RG & Jessel "Jie" Sayson are followers of The Lord Jesus Christ and have been married since 2007. They were featured in Korina Sanchez's Rated K in 2017 as "the real life Tonyo and Lea" of the movie Kita Kita that starred Alessandra da Rossi and Empoy Marquez.
